4Kids By Kids is a 5-week (6 days) food/cooking program for Middle School kids at Rwanda Bean at Thompson Point. Participants will be trained and shadow local, talented, professional chefs on how to source food, design and execute culinary works of art. Topics Included in this course are understanding your palate, sourcing food and provisions, kitchen operation and safety, menu design, and cooking/baking techniques. At the end of the course the newly trained junior chefs will have a unique opportunity to demonstrate their new skills by cooking for an event that will benefit Full Plates Full Potential.
