4Kids By Kids is a 6-week food/cooking program for middle school kids at the new Maker’s Galley. Participants will be trained and shadow local, talented, professional chefs on how to source food, design and execute culinary works of art. Topics Included in this course are understanding your palate; sourcing food and provisions; kitchen operation and safety; menu design; and cooking and baking techniques. At the end of the course, the newly trained junior chefs will have a unique opportunity to demonstrate their new skills by cooking a 5-course dinner that will benefit Full Plates Full Potential.
